Transform the word at the top into the word below in as few moves as possible.
See 'Yesterday' for examples. Free to play. Complete all three puzzles per level.
Transformation tips:
Remove a letter: NODE > NOD
Add a letter: BAN > BANG
Replace a letter: BLACK > BLANK
Rhyming:
(only perfect rhymes / same syllable count):
So: GOOD > WOOD But not: TALL > INSTALL
Anagram: MATES > STEAM
Within previous word: FORGOT > GOT
Contains previous word: MET > METEOR
Closed compound words, like FIREFLY are acceptable. Open / hyphenated compound words, like ICE CREAM / CHECK-IN can't be used.
Moderate: Hints are available on all three Moderate puzzles.
Tricky: One Hint is available on Tricky, which can be used on any of its' three puzzles.
Fiendish: No Hints available.
A Hint can only be used before you select your first word for each puzzle. Once you select your first word, the Hint function is switched-off - unless you use UNDO to return to the starting point, when an unused Hint becomes available again.
Using a Hint gives you the next move word along a shortest route to solving a puzzle.
British English and US English words allowable.
Puzzles refresh daily at midnight.
